Serious Storms Ahead

May 18, 2013

New Storm Spotter

New “Storm Spotter” on the right.

All those having graduation parties this evening need to pay close attention to the weather and have plans if the weather gets bad. The National Weather folks are predicting serious storms for our area.

The storms are predicted to start arriving around 6pm extending through 11pm. Baseball sized hail and winds up to 45 mph are possible. Tornado activity is also possible with this storm.

We will activate our EOC Emergency Operations Center and provide a continuous feed if the storms progress as expected.
