The Wind Began to Switch [WATCH]

November 6, 2011

What happened was just this…

The wind began to switch — The silage to pitch — And, suddenly, the giant pile started to unhitch.

Just then the fire witch – to satisfy an itch – Ignited the pile with her 40 mph wind stick, in a little niche.

And, oh, what happened then was rich!

The dispatcher sent a pitch – FFs arriving on a slich – Climbed on the Fire Witch on the top of the silage ditch —

Which was not a happy situation for the Fire Witch!

On a serious note.

Stafford County Firefighters fought the fire at this giant pile of silage for over two hours. The warmth under the silage was apparently stoked by the wind gusts that registered over 40 mph. The video shows the miserable conditions that firefighters worked under.

Great Job Stafford Firefighters!
