Armadillo Causes Motorcycle Accident

A 32 year old Hudson, Kansas resident was driving his motorcycle down NW 100th St. in Stafford County when an armadillo darted onto the highway.
The motorcycle struck the armadillo causing it to fall sideways onto the blacktop highway. It slid for over 100 feet before coming to rest in the middle of the roadway.
The motorcyclist was treated by Stafford County medics and transported to Great Bend Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He was wearing a helmet and leather jacket.
